2. Subject of the contract — nature of the adoption
Through the italiantitles.it site you can make an adoption of a real, geolocated piece of land in the Tenuta di Montaldo Mezzana and in the Tenuta Tagliata di Montaldo Mezzana, in support of the reforestation and hydrogeological protection project of the Associazione Principato di Valboscosa.
The cost of the adoption is a one-off payment (once and for all). You will never be asked for further payments after the first payment for the same adopted land. Beware of emails asking for further payments, and report to us any requests for money received by email, SMS, WhatsApp or through other channels and social networks.
The adoption does not in any way constitute a transfer of ownership, a property right, or any noble or legally binding title. The customer receives an honorary recognition (certificate, parchment, map with GPS coordinates of the adopted land, depending on the product chosen) as evidence of their concrete and tangible support for the project. The land remains the property of the Association and is never transferred, sold or registered in the customer’s name.
3. Products and prices
The available products, with their descriptions and prices, are shown in the site’s shop at the time of ordering. Prices include VAT/applicable taxes where due, and exclude any shipping costs, which are shown separately before the order is completed.
4. Delivery
Depending on the product purchased:
- Digital products (certificate in PDF format): made available for download in the “My Account” area immediately after payment is confirmed. You must be a registered user to download them from your account area.
- Physically printed products: the documents are printed and shipped to the address given when ordering; production and shipping times may vary depending on the volume of orders being processed. Normally production within 48 hours of the order, plus 3/5 days for delivery to the address given in the order, by express courier.
5. Payments
Payments are handled through the methods available at checkout (e.g. credit card, PayPal). Payment data are processed directly by the payment providers, who operate according to their own security standards; the site does not store credit card data.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer (a private individual buying for purposes unrelated to your professional activity) you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the physical product, without giving any reason, under Articles 52 and following of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005). In the case of a valid withdrawal, the refund is made with the same means of payment used for the purchase, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice (or, for physical products, of receiving the return, if earlier).
7. Intellectual property
The trademark “Principe di Valboscosa®” (registered with UIBM/MIMIT, No. 302021000033209), the texts, images, logos and coat of arms on the site are the property of Italian Titles and may not be reproduced without written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
Web Data Service is committed to ensuring the accuracy of the information on the site, but is not liable for any service interruptions due to force majeure or technical factors beyond its direct control.
9. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This contract is governed by Italian law. For disputes with customers who are consumers, the court of Biella has jurisdiction. You may also use the European ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
10. Changes to these terms
Web Data Service reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time; changes apply to orders placed after the updated version is published.
